Dustin Simpson – Owner and President
Dustin established Matrix Digital Media in 1995 with the clear intention of offering a new brand of website solutions. Rather than conform to prescribed and conventional technical processes, Dustin developed an engineering philosophy aimed at efficient and customized adaptability for specific markets and businesses, an approach that has successfully improved the web resources and cost controls of Matrix clients.
In addition to managing and directing the company, Dustin applies a wide range of programming skills to the day-today operations of Matrix Digital Media, including HTML, Cold Fusion, ASP, PHP, JSP, Flash, Access, SQL, Sybase and Informix.
Dustin’s innovative solutions include developing custom databases, interfacing Excel databases to Access and Sybase, and constructing e-commerce sites using Access and SSL encryption.
Oriana (Ori) Morfitt – Programmer
Website function and design are both critical for the success of Matrix clients, and no one understands this better than Ori. Having graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and a minor in art, Ori's education and experience combine perfectly to deliver utility and creativity to client websites, e-commerce sites, database systems and more.
As the internet continues to mature and expand upon its capabilities, Ori has kept pace by expanding her programming skills to include HTML, Cold Fusion, JavaScript, PHP and others.
Ed Gracie –Network Services
As System Administrator, Ed ensures to the smooth operation of Matrix servers, client websites and other system technologies that are vital to modern business success. This includes all network, security and web administration functions, as well as trouble-shooting and problem solving for Matrix clients.
Arguably Ed's most important function at Matrix is his ability to interpret client needs and produce solutions that meet spec. His Bachelor of Business Administration degree and real-world experience have developed this requisite capacity, as well as the ability to anticipate future client necessities, problems and compatibility issues. These skills, combined with his computer knowledge, continue to save our clients time and money.
